Glenn Lees – Executive Director and CEO

Glenn Lees is a director and CEO of the Connective Group. He started his career in the mortgage broking industry in 2000, initially as a mortgage broker before becoming one of the founding directors and shareholders of Connective in 2003.

Glenn holds bachelor’s degrees in Science and Law from Monash University, and is currently a member of the OPM Program at Harvard Business School.

Glenn has been intimately involved in all aspects of the Connective business on its growth journey from 2 brokers to the largest mortgage aggregator in Australia by number of brokers and volume of loans settled.

As CEO, and supported by the Connective executive team, Glenn is responsible for the development and implementation of Connective’s growth strategy, and has a particular passion for Connective’s award winning Mercury Platform.

Mark Haron ss

Mark Haron – Executive Director

Mark was appointed Executive Director of Connective in 2006, having previously been the CEO at aggregator FAST. Mark brings with him a wealth of knowledge across all aspects of mortgage broking and lending. His vast experience and expertise spans operations, sales and relationship management. Mark is an active advocate of the industry.

Mark was also the Deputy Chair of the Combined Industry Forum, an industry group guiding and implementing reforms to improve customer outcomes throughout the industry. Mark’s vision for the future of the industry strongly influences the direction that Connective takes in its dealings with broker members and lender partners.

Mark has been instrumental in driving Connective’s growth through establishing excellent lender relationships to strengthen Connective’s industry-leading panel. He has worked tirelessly to advocate for brokers and the mortgage broking industry helping shape key industry reforms and deliver better customer outcomes.

Gingkai Tan - Chief Customer Officer

Gingkai Tan, Connective’s Chief Customer Officer, is an experienced business executive with experience in both domestic and international markets. He has an extensive track record of successfully developing and executing customer focused business strategies that deliver profitable and sustainable growth, with particular expertise in creating high performance cultures through building strong teams and delivering on commercial objectives.

Gingkai is a commercially astute, strategic and innovative business leader with responsibility for driving the Connective business strategy, operations, revenue and understanding and delivering against the needs of Connective members.


Frank Fiume

Frank Fiume - Chief Financial Officer

Frank Fiume is the Chief Financial Officer of Connective, who provides leadership, direction, and management of the finance team.

Frank is a senior finance executive with extensive experience in the SME market. He has broad commercial and operational experience gained across diverse industry sectors in both Australia and abroad including retail, wholesale, and financial services.

In his role at Connective, Frank provides strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive team, manages all financial forecasting and reporting, establishes and develops relationships with brokers and lenders alike and controls the timely and accurate payment of broker commissions.

Dan Oh

Daniel Oh - Group Legal Counsel

Daniel brings both commercial pragmatism and corporate governance to his current role as Group Legal Counsel of Connective. Daniel's current role incorporates identifying and managing risk exposures whilst delivering proactive, effective, and strategic legal advice.Daniel has acquired strong legal expertise from over 20 years’ experience working in global law firms in Melbourne, London, and Hong Kong. He has also spent eight years at Morgan Stanley in Hong Kong where he led a team of over 20 lawyers supporting the bank's Asian trading business. He is also responsible for Connective's Compliance team, which is responsible for supervising and supporting Connective's brokers. In his current role, Daniel has developed excellent working relationships with external stakeholders such as lenders, industry and regulatory bodies and is regularly involved in industry wide initiatives.

Ashley Jackson - Chief Information Officer

Ash plays a pivotal role in steering our technological landscape towards excellence. With over 7.5 years of dedicated service to Connective, he brings a wealth of experience to this role, having previously served as the Head of Technology Operations, where he successfully managed technology operations, security protocols, and the helpdesk functions. Ash is committed to innovation, ensuring the security of our systems, and aligning our technology with the dynamic needs of both our internal Connective team and the broader network of brokers.

Ash is tasked with the crucial responsibility of safeguarding our technology and communications infrastructure. He diligently identifies, reviews, and integrates emerging technologies to propel Connective forward, ensuring we adapt to the fast-changing landscape of technology platforms and services. With a keen eye for detail and a strategic approach, Ash continues to drive Connective's technological strategy.

Nicole O'Sullivan - Chief People Officer

Nicole O'Sullivan is a senior executive with over 20 years’ experience providing strategic people and culture leadership and support. She’s passionate about balancing business strategy, people, systems, culture, and financial levers to drive positive staff engagement.

In her role at Connective, Nicole is responsible for strategy, risk mitigation and managing the functional delivery of P&C activities.

Graham Maloney – Independent Non-Executive Director and Chairman

Graham joined the Connective board as an independent director and Chairman in 2011.

Having spent 38 years in the financial services sector, Graham has worked across a broad range of disciplines including superannuation, life insurance, general insurance, commercial banking and investment banking.

James Atkins – Non-Executive Director

James Atkins joined the Connective board in April 2016. James is an experienced non-executive director, business advisor and marketing strategist. As a Director at Vantage Strategy & Marketing, he works with boards and management teams helping them clarify their strategy and implement change so that they can grow. Prior to setting up Vantage, James was a senior executive in highly competitive markets, including financial services, retail and energy.

Mark Korda – Non-Executive Director

Mark Korda joined the Connective board in 2018. Mark is the co-founder of the advisory and investment firm KordaMentha and a seasoned advisor and entrepreneur with over 40 years of business experience.

Mark has a unique perspective on business that helps him to identify previously unthought-of solutions to organisation’s most difficult problems.
