Applying strategic foresight for an uncertain future

Wednesday 18 November, 10:30am – 12:00pm (AEST)

How do you plan for an uncertain future? Foresight is a discipline that balances anticipating the future so we can respond to it with imagining our preferred future and then acting to create it. Uncertainty, turbulence and disruption means that sensible plans must have contingencies and resilience built in.

In this module brokers will learn to think in terms of multiple futures and apply the four archetypes model to assess multiple futures in any circumstance. We can't make the future completely safe however this session will provide perspectives and tools that build resilience and future hope, both of which are critical in the face of change.
