Why We Are Different
At Connective we go out of our way to be ‘different’.
Not ‘different’ in a “Gee, that’s really strange” kind of way. More ‘different’ in the “Wow, they’re not like all the others, how refreshing” kind of way. For example, we go to great lengths to make sure our brokers get a fair deal, both in financial terms and in terms of how we treat them. Now this is hardly rocket science, but it certainly sets us apart from our competitors.
Connective is now widely acknowledged as the fastest growing aggregator in the industry. In fact, in each of 2009, 2010 and 2011 Connective has featured in the highly regarded BRW Fast 100 List of Companies. The bad news for all the old-style aggregators out there is this growth is set to continue as more and more brokers begin to question the value their pre-historic aggregator is currently providing.
Ever since Connective first entered the market we decided to challenge everything – we looked at the commission split type models and saw they were fundamentally unfair. Just because something has been done a particular way for years, doesn’t mean there isn’t a better way to do it. Our flat-fee model is a good example, with many industry experts acknowledging that it has become the preferred platform for successful brokers, both now and into the future.
