Creative thinking at Connective

news

At Connective, we like to think outside the box. We are always looking for new and better ways to serve our members. That is why we have engaged a residential artist to work with us in 2012!

Barry Dickins is a well known Melbourne author and artist, who enjoys teaching people of all ages the simple pleasure of drawing and painting.

The directors have organised Barry to come in and do art classes with us each month! The first art class ran in December 2011, and it was a huge hit! Check out the photos below.

Running monthly throughout 2012, these art classes will allow staff to think outside the square, do something a little different, and get their creative juices flowing! Each month we will cover a variety of art ‘techniques’ including water colour, drawing and painting. It’s quite unusual, but we’re not traditional at Connective.

At the end of the year we plan to run an exhibition of all our ‘art work’!

We are no Picassos, but it will certainly be fun!
